52 Weeks, 52 Quotes: An Inside Look at Year 2015

The Breakthroughs of the Past are the Foundations of the Future

I tend to write notes, scriptures, quotes and whispers that the Lord are highlighting to me throughout the days, weeks and months. What you are about to read are those moments. They are but glimpses of my journey with the Lord. The words of many mentors, the Lord, and the scriptures have been nourishment to my soul. They have encouraged and sustained me. They have made me consistent. They have molded me. They have become my anchor. This list is nothing but a tip of the ice burg of things the Lord had done. You could say, they are some of the bricks to the foundation that the Lord has built within me. It’s amazing to see the theme change from the beginning of the year to the end and somehow the Lord weaved it all together. Process is one of the things I have learned to appreciate this year because it means I get to do life with Him and with those around me.

I hope this blesses you as it did to me. If you have any questions feel free to private message me.

52 Weeks, 52 Quotes

“I may not be able to change the world I see around me, but I can change the way I see the world within me.” – John C. Maxwell

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you…we are in charge of our attitudes.” – Charles Swindoll

This is what holiness does to a human; it purges the temple before taking up residency.
